Gifted and talented (G&T) exams utilize some or all of NNAT, OLSAT, WISC, Bracken, and Stanford Binet materials to determine whether a student has a “natural ability” to work ahead of grade. While schools and school districts often provide some materials to familiarize students with the process and help them know what to expect on test day, they generally discourage tutoring for the exam because it can result in children scoring above their aptitude and being placed in an academic environment in which they may experience significant pressure to keep up with accelerated coursework.
Next Level Learning agrees with that conclusion and refrains from preparing students for G&T exams. However, we are happy to support students of any age who need support in academic subjects.
