Some colleges require SAT Subject Tests for admission or placement. The SAT Subject Tests demonstrate proficiency in five broad subject areas: English, History and Social Studies, Mathematics, Science, and Languages. Each test lasts one hour and all questions are multiple choice.
Most high school students take SAT Subject Tests on various dates in their junior or senior years, ideally after just completing the corresponding class work so the material is fresh in their minds. SAT Subject Tests are straightforward exams designed to measure specific subject knowledge. Because they are more “you either know it or you don’t” type of tests, thus making deductive reasoning less useful, preparation and practice are imperative and personalized tutoring is particularly effective.
Next Level’s professional instructors are experts in the topics they teach and completely comfortable with the entire content of each test. SAT Subject Test tutoring entails reviewing classroom materials, introducing practice questions similar to those on the tests, and helping students develop content knowledge and skills that quickly build confidence and reduce testing anxiety—all of which translate into better results.
